Walk to Parks- Pet Friendly-Top Neighborhood

Great property!

Great property walking distance to great paths through parks into town. Good size home. It worked well for my husband, 2 kids, and parents to share for a few days visiting Mount Rushmore, Deadwood, Hill City, Rapid City, and Custer State Park for a few days. Host was responsive and helpful. Beautiful area we’d love to visit again. Visit The Alpine Inn in Hill City, best food! Prairie Trading for great shopping, and so t miss Custer and Mt Rushmore. Deadwood was not very family-friendly and could have easily been skipped! We enjoyed Medora in N Dakota MUCH more than deadwood but it required driving and staying there (Hotel 1883 was an amazing choice and easy drive from this property in Raid City). The host made this an easy and convenient trip.

Would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay in again. Positive: The location was excellent. Central to all major sites. It's located in a great area and neighborhood. Close to everything, but out of the way of mainstream traffic (we saw deer in the yard). Very quiet and ideal. Excellent communication with owners! I felt completely prepared for my arrival well before leaving for my trip. The house was well-equipped and had everything we needed for our stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Rapid City and the home was comfortable. Positive: The location was perfect for our visit to Rapid City and the National Parks and Monuments. The home is in a quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable and clean. Negative: The kitchen was missing a few supplies; tea kettle, a second kitchen towel, and better quality cookware.

Positive: The property was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was updated and had everything we needed.
