Positive: Location was fantastic. Very beautiful and it was very quite. Negative: The only improvement is the road to the location is rough. It's not that we didn't like the drive there, but a small car on a rainy day may not make it to the location.

Not quite what we expected but definitely a nice place to stay. Positive: Nice sized house with 4 bedrooms, 4 king size beds and a game room. The communication with host was good and liked the app like format used. Negative: Air conditioner was a wall unit in the loft and did not cool the whole house. A gas grill was advertised but not available, only a charcoal grill. There were not enough cleaning supplies like a mop and vacuum cleaner to clean kid messes. Only a broom. Ran out of toilet paper.

100% recommend this property and we look forward to staying here again! Positive: The house was spacious and absolutely beautifu!! It had everything we needed for our stay...tableware, cookware, spices, coffee beans, extra towels, linens, pillows, small portable fans in every bedroom, lots of outdoor seating, charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill, games..the hosts thought of every necessary detail! We loved that each bedroom had a king bed and the closets were big with multiple hangers for clothing. We prepared/cooked all of our meals at the property so we were happy to find a nice size kitchen with a pantry that EASILY held all of our grocery items for a family of six adults for a six day stay. The full size refrigerator/freezer had an ice maker with filtered water, dishwasher was very quite. The fireplace had an easy to use remote and added a nice touch to our relaxing evenings. The location was private and remote, yet we were only a short drive to Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood and Lead. The outdoor hottub and views were an amazing bonus! The hosts were easy to contact and communicate with. They emailed all check in details prior to our stay, which included a website link with easy to click tabs for other property and local attraction information. I would advise taking a screenshot or writing down the door entry passcode and wifi password. We use Verizon as our cell phone carrier and our service was limited in many areas in the black hills. I was very glad I had another way to retrieve that info as our phones had no signal upon arriving to the property. So, if you're looking for a great place to stay in the Black Hills of SD, look no further...this property is incredible!!

Great property, clean and quiet, just what we needed.

We stayed there when the weather was -30 and when we checked in, it was 47 degrees in the cabin. So, we turned the heat up and went into Deadwood. came back 6 hours later and it was only at 54 degrees. It was too late to call the manager so we just used every blanket possible to get through the night. The next morning I contacted the manager and got a complete run around like we didn't know how to operate the heat. So, my son and husband thought to check the breaker box and found that one breaker was off that controls the main heat. Really?? why would that be off when they should have checked that morning to make sure the heat was working properly with the weather forecast. I get an excuse that the cleaning person said everything was fine when he left the property 5 days earlier. Granted the weather was 50 degrees then. So long story short I asked if I could get a refund and they said I would get a refund. I did get a refund of $70. What a joke, if we would have stayed there, I guarantee their water pipes would have been frozen. I will be calling the better business bureau as well. This property doesn't treat its guest with respect at all. all I wanted was one night refunded and they couldn't even do that when clearly text me that I would be getting a refund.
