HUGE Space-Mid-Century Magic

Very adequate for what we needed. Check in and communication was very good with the host. Was not a “wow” home but clean and nice. Fit our needs well for a large group.

The property was clean, comfortable and great for relaxing. There were plenty of supplies, Negative: Not a big deal but it would have been nice to have serving bowls for salads and side dishes. Plastic bowls would work fine. Everything else was perfect.

The kitchen was dirty. Inside of cabinets were sticky and greasy. Spent first night wiping cabinets & washing dishes. Coffee pot had mold inside & oven needed deep cleaning. The rugs were dirty & stained. Recommend you wear house shoes because our white socks were black on the bottom. A/C was remotely controlled by owner, so house was hot & humid. Made it hard to sleep. Only given 1 washcloth per day, so expect to wash laundry EVERY day. There is no exhaust fan in the main tiny bathroom (shared by 3 bedrooms), room is very steamy after showers. Towels do not dry by next day, so again had to do laundry EVERY day. And there is no laundry detergent, which is listed in the guidebook. For the price, this house had CHEAP furnishings (other than the towels - which were great). Two car garage was nice & we used it during stormy nights. Trash can was full when we arrived on Saturday & trash pickup was not until Tuesday. Would not stay here again & do not recommend. The host noted all issues reported & offered to send cleaning crew, but we did not want anyone in the house with or without us.

The house was clean and family friendly. Could of used more towels we did not have laundry soap and was not supplied but don’t know if there was supposed to be supplied, so more towels would of been nice.
