Hill's View Retreat on the Edge of the Prairie

Overall I would stay here again! Probably would buy a cheaper coffee maker and a pan! Positive: We liked the house the neighborhood the house was clean and comfortable. There were a couple things that need to be addressed, first the coffee maker is horrible! At first it was we thought we just didn’t know how to use it but no it’s bad. Second the oven needs a good cleaning and the bbq was so dirty that when we turned it on it caught on fire and if we hadn’t been right there it could have been bad! And the pans in the kitchen are horrible! I am not one that has to have upscale pans but those are like a yard sale reject!! I am not a complainer and we dealt with the flaws! We loved the house and enjoyed our stay! Just a few things that need attention!! Negative: The coffee maker and pans

Nice stay, hot and rainy.

The house was conveniently located to multiple national parks and sites of interest (badlands, wind cave, jewel cave, deadwood, Rushmore, Custer State Park). Bedding was clean and comfortable. Full, clean, functional kitchen. We were very happy with the house - it was perfect for 2 families with kids and grandparents!

We had an amazing time in South Dakota for our family vacation and we’re super happy with our stay at Hills retreat. Easy access to many attractions and within a great community.
