The Haven-Rustic Secluded Cabin

This was the perfect space for our adult children and family to stay with us for a wedding up in Sylvan Lake. The turn to Sylvan Lake is literally two minutes up the road. It was private and cozy. We especially loved the back porch with the babbling brook stream in the morning with coffee. The space was perfect with three bathrooms and various bedrooms/spaces for our family to stay in. We loved hanging out in the living room together playing games. We met in the owners on our last day. They were lovely and very kind as we had lost our keys outside to our car; thankfully, we had an extra set along. We definitely would stay here again! It was perfect.

easy to access, secluded cabin with beautiful surroundings, but with enough room inside for all. we enjoyed our stay. The Wi-Fi was reliable and very useful given limited phone service in that region. Very clean and has everything you need. Would stay there again.

Great house in a great location. It was perfect for our family with four smaller children. Also, it was nice to be so close to the trail for bike riding. House was very clean and hosts were great. Would highly recommend.

This cabin was perfect for our family. We enjoy biking, running, and walking on the Mickelson trail which is literally outside the front door. Our youngest daughter was pleasantly surprised to pull up to this property because she has admired it over the years as she ran on the Mickelson Trail. The sound of the creek behind the back of the cabin added a relaxing atmosphere. In addition to the location, this property has a wonderful floor plan and comfortable furnishings. The firepit on the deck provides a relaxing evening retreat. This cabin provided the perfect space for our family of eight, which includes a five-month old, to get away from life and enjoy time together. We have stayed at VRBOs locally and in different states and this has been our favorite!

This property has a great location. It is located right on the Mickelson trail and about 3 miles from Hill City.
