Aviators Haven

Location close to town, yet felt like we were in the country. We loved having a fire in the woodburning stove on cool mornings. It worked great for our family.

First, the hosts were superb. They were always timely, accurate and helpful. Second, while I think the statement that it sleeps 12 comfortably should not be taken literally, everything else in description more than accurate. Lovely setting, great appliances, well stocked, and convenient to everything. We all from age 10 to 80 loved it.

Very comfortable, convenient and clean accomodation well located in Custer! Easy for us to hit all our favorite attractions such as Custer state Park, Bear Country, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and easy drive to Hill City for shopping and fun! Owners were easy to communicate with and quick to respond! In the future when we travel out west again this will definitely be our first check for availability!!

Nice, clean, functional place!

Overall, a fantastic stay and super close to town but far enough away for peace and quiet. Positive: Door code was provided early. The hosts are very responsive to text/messaging. Its an easy drive for about a mile on a good dirt road. We got nine inches of snow overnight. The roads were plowed the next morning and the property was plowed and shoveled by noon. Everything worked great and the beds were very comfortable. Negative: Its an older property and some of the bathroom outlets didn't hold things like hair dryers plugged in while moving around. It wasn't that big of a deal but wanted to put something in this box.
