Downtown Condo | Upper Unit

It was in a good neighborhood within a couple minutes of a lot or restaurants and shopping.

Very satisfied Positive: Great location for us! Very nice and comfortable. Negative: Upper unit stairs were a nightmare!

We had a great week staying here. It was a great central location for exploring the area, including Rushmore, Custer State Park, Wind Cave NP, Buffalo Gap, and the Badlands. The condo was clean and pleasantly quiet. We knew there were people staying in the unit below us but it was very quiet and we almost never heard them. The kitchen was spacious and had all of the basic pots, pans, utensils, and dishes for cooking. Furniture was all clean and comfortable. Bathroom was small, but very clean and well cared for. It was not an issue for us, but the stairs up to the unit were a bit steep and felt a bit uneven in places, so that could be worrisome for someone shaky on their feet. But there were handrails so I don't think it would be a problem for most. That's the only item even remotely worth noting. Overall, we had a tremendous experience and would absolutely stay here again if we were in the area and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit.

We will not be staying again. The pictures look great but the quality is different than our standard Positive: Location wasn’t bad, but 26 steep, short and slanted steps made it very difficult. Staying for a week at this property and having to lug all of your luggage up that steep incline is hard, especially for older people. This should have been noted. Negative: The 26 steps. All our concerns were to be addressed as we contacted management with each issue. The shower spout could be upgraded and the commode is very low to the ground, not even a standard size commode. A kitchen chair needs repair. Some blinds would not open or close correctly. The apartment is clean, has nice furniture and is in a quiet and safe neighborhood.
