Great stay in a quiet location. Positive: Plenty of room for 9 if you sleep in the pull out couches. I think the five kids would have liked to all be downstairs but there are only two beds and a pullout down there and they’re teenage boys and girls. There was plenty of room for an air mattress though. Maybe we should have brought that:) Comfortable and quiet. Easy check in and check out. Loved the outdoor fire table on the deck, that was handy nightly. We did see some wild turkeys twice and some dear on the property so that was fun. AC kept the house comfortable. Water was hot and plentiful, plenty of towels, foosball and game under the stairs were perfect! SIDE BY SIDE REVIEW: Parking was doable to good with two pickups and trailers and 4 side by sides. Be conscious of fuel stops as they are few in this area. Maybe bring a fuel can. Getting to Nemo was easy. Best trail we found was the centennial trail. Going west of Nemo, there are a couple bridges you get to cross. Going east of Nemo up and then down to Dalton Lake was challenging but so so good! Other points of interest near the cabin: find the flag on Nemo ridge, steamboat rock is worth a stop, the creek at Johnson siding for smooth skipping rocks and fresh (cold) water to wade in, and pactola reservoir with water floaties and strap-on sandals or water shoes as the rocks are very sharp. Negative: On Nemo road, parallel to this property, there is a creek running by, but not on this road. That would have topped it off if there was a little water near. The cabin was missing a few things we were expecting. A griddle for pancakes and a can opener 😊 but maybe another guest took them home with them!! We should have brought them with us anyway. Poor planning in our part.

I cannot recommend this property - It seems to be an issue with the management company (or the owner) misrepresenting the capacity on the VRBO site and in follow-up messaging. I caution other renters. 1) Number of beds: Before renting I inquired specifically about the number of beds in the house (not the "sleeps" number, but the actual number of beds) as our group was 8 men; I was assured that they were in fact 8 beds. What we found were 5 beds and a few very small (child size really) pull out chairs/sofas. Even these did not have any bedding (sheets, pillows, etc.). So, one of our group slept on the living room couch, another ended up sleeping in his van in the driveway.2) The propane tanks for the BBQ grill and the fire pit were empty upon arrival. When I requested that full tanks be brought to the property I was told that the maintenance man only worked until 5:00 PM and that tanks wouldn't be delivered until the next day. 3) No internet. This was a specific condition for renting the property. The property management service should have checked that the system was functioning prior to our arrival. Cell service was not available in the house. If your party needs 5 beds or fewer the home could work out well as it is in a nice setting and generally clean. I advise having a direct conversation with the property management company prior to your arrival.

Had a great time at this home, group of family and friends visiting the Black Hills for motorcycle riding. Property is centrally located nearby trails. Nice deck space and hot tub for relaxing and recovering post ride! Easy check in process and communication with the host.
