Cozy Creekside Cabin

Great house for a Family stay! Positive: 👍 What We Liked * Great location with easy access to the Black Hills attractions. * Comfortable layout for our family. That included elderly adults. * Overall, the home met our needs and we enjoyed our stay. * The grill cooked well, and we appreciated having it available. * Communication was good, and the laundry vent issue was acknowledged when we reported it. *Wildlife was plentiful visiting the back yard and deck, we even refilled the hummingbird feeder we enjoyed them so much! Negative: 👎 Areas for Improvement * Mouse droppings were present in the basement bedroom when we arrived and continued to appear during our stay. * We could hear chipmunks (or another small animal) scratching in the basement ceiling, especially at night. * The thermostat appeared to be pre-programmed and frequently reset itself. * The propane tank for the patio table was empty. * The grill needs a deeper cleaning underneath the grates, as grease buildup caused high flare-ups while cooking. * Cobwebs were present on the ceiling in the basement bedroom. * The laundry vent was c logged, resulting in very long drying times. * The queen beds were not very comfortable. * There were no basic cleaning supplies (such as surface or floor cleaner) available to clean up spills during our stay. * The basement toilet handle was broken when we arrived. It still flushed, but the handle had a broken piece.

The property was very nice and clean. Dealing with this company was easy and professional.

Location was great, house was clean and easy to access. Really appreciated having a double car garage. House was accommodating. Would have been nice to have a queen size bed in the master bedroom. I can understand a security system, but the number cameras outside the house, and motion sensors in almost every public room in the house are more than I care for when it comes to our privacy will in the house.

We just wrapped up a wonderful stay for the Sturgis motorcycle rally and visiting family in town and we found this home to work perfectly. It had a nice open kitchen/living room/outdoor deck for making and enjoying dinners together, plenty of parking for our trailer, garage parking for motorcycles, and great wifi to stay connected. Location was beautiful with a little creek and the daily visit from deer. Clean and completely updated home, well stocked with supplies! Would love to stay here again!!
