Beaver Lake Pond & Pines Cabin

No running water and no refund Positive: The location was perfect Negative: It was a beautiful property…up until there was no running water a few hours into our stay. The property manager has placed this blame on our group size (10 adults with toddlers and babies, that I had mentioned before our stay were coming) to get out of taking any kind of responsibility. The plumber and the electrician they sent out mentioned that the storm that rolled through before our stay likely took out the system. The property manager never came out to the property himself, and was extremely hard to get a hold of (even when water was pouring beneath their kitchen sink). Our group took it in stride, and thankfully had a couple of guys in our group who knew a bit about plumbing to turn off the leaking pipes. But we spent our vacation trying to figure out where to poop (the toilets weren’t working), where to shower, how to get clean drinking water, and trying to prevent their house from flooding. I wish I could leave videos. We’re super taken aback that they are choosing to blame us. Spend your money elsewhere.

Wish I could live here permanently! Positive: Absolutely beautiful setting, tons of space, comfortable beds. The morning sunrise on the deck is breathtaking. Could not be happier with this cabin! Negative: Maybe that there was only one bedroom on the first floor, but that only a problem for us because we had 2 sets of grandparents and one had to brace the stairs. Other than that it was perfect for us!

The room was clean, close by to a lot of different places and family friendly. If I come back to the Black Hills I would stay there again.
