ELK Chalet was a good spot for the northern Black Hills area. The cabin is hard to find if you don't have good GPS. Hot tub is nice. The place was clean. You will need your own streaming login if you watch TV. The area is getting developed pretty heavily so eventually this will not be a cabin in the woods. The only real issue was the tank floater inside the toilet tank. In both bathrooms, the floater/flapper would not drop down and seal. Several times we had to remove the tank lid and jiggle the handle to get the float/flapper to drop. And there was no outdoor fire pit. Not sure if it's allowed or not but there wasn't one. We received a message asking us to take the garbage out and bring it down for collection. Overall, it was a decent place but a bit pricey.
