Large Home in the Most Convenient Location

Positive: Size of the house, facilities and location were all excellent. Negative: The beds weren't as comfy as expected but I'm being really picky here. Other than that, can't think of anything.

Great location, roomy, but needs a furniture update. Positive: The house is spacious and in a great location. There is so much to do. We really liked the "Bus Tour of Mount Rushmore and the Black Hills" found on Viator. Visited many of the sights, two great meals, and a show at the end. Negative: The living room/dining room furniture was dated and uncomfortable for sitting to watch TV or at the "high" dining table with a wall bench. Three tall chairs were not comfortable while playing cards, and the bench on the wall has a protruding trim piece at the shoulder blades; leaning back hurt.

The property was clean. Kitchen fully stocked. Lots of elbow room. There are 2 areas of improvement that our group identified:1) The full-size beds (or smallest queen beds any of us have ever seen) are not comfortable and the pillows are terrible. 2) We don't stay in a lot of VRBO's, however the ones that any of us have ever stayed at, when we've asked about an early check in, and the owner says that the property is available, this is the first time any of us have ever heard of a 100 early check in fee for an available property. Otherwise, the property was fine. Unsure if we would rent it again.

Positive: Lots of space, good location Negative: Not as clean as it could have been. Poor upkeep( batteries dead in remotes, refrigerator filters needed replaced, coffee pot was too gross to use)

Enjoyed most aspects of stay, as noted. Would recommend a garage door entry pad and providing more furniture, as it was sparely furnished.
